Dear colleagues,
PROCASUR Corporation and OXFAM Novib are pleased to invite you to participate to the two parallel Learning Routes: “Boosting the contribution of value chain development to gender justice and pro poor wealth creation: the Gender Action Learning System (GALS) " .
Through a face-to-face learning in the field, the Learning Routes aim at analyzing and reflecting on experiences with GALS as a gender transformative empowerment methodology at different stages of integration in livelihoods development interventions, this in order to plan its further replication in value chains, at a larger scale or in other programmes.
For this purpose, five (5) experiences in Rwanda and Uganda, will be sharing their knowledge and innovations in the field:
Rwanda:

Uganda:
3. Community Organisation for Rural Enterprise Activity (CREAM) WESTNILE ARUA DISTRICT
4. Community Empowerment for Rural Development (CEFORD) ARUA DISTRICT
5. BUKONZO JOINT COOPERATIVE

This is yet another good initiative that adds value to our objectives. I like it and my new job as Gender Advisor at ACDI/VOCA Zambia PROFIT+ project will really give me an opportunity to learn and contribute to gender equity in agric value chains.
