Please introduce yourself briefly:
I have a PhD in rural development with a major in gender and development. For the last 10 years i have been doing gender research specifically looking at gender and markets, intrahousheold decision making and their implications for women's economic empowerment and housheold well being. I am a Kenyan national and my work is in several African and South Asia countries. I hope to get experiences from others on their work on gender and value chains.

I got information on the network through IFAD (Maria Hatl and Annina Lubock)

Happy new year. I just had another look at the programme for the event on your wiki. I am interested to learn who is attending (is there a participants list already) and if there are links established now towards the Agri-ProFocus network in Ethiopia (I see some references in the programme). As you know the event is also highlighted on our Ethiopia platform. Please let me know if the AGri-ProFocus network could be of any further assistance.
